billgates Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi Guys, I am looking for a way to automatically save each group of selected/filtered layers by own filters [filters were created in the "Layer Properties Manager" (LPM)] into separated "dwg" files. My wish is that each saved file will be named with the source group-filter name e.g. M09_49664-I5.dwg, M08_49663-Me4.dwg,...,etc. Then, each File must contain the group filtered layers! Is there a real easily way to do this, without creating a new file by selecting & copying layers from a group each time? was my query understanding? then I attached an image of the LPM with the filters/layers viewer!
