lauramichelle Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 First off I'm using acad 2010. I have been given a site plan that is drawn in feet and the units is Architectural & feet. My instructions are to change the site plan from feet to meters. As of now I have scaled the site plan .3048 (1 foot = .3048 meters) i changed the units to decimal & millimeters. When I look at the properties of a line that was 278.773 feet (now 89.97m) the length shown is 1019.64 (if you divide 1019.64 by 12 = 89.97). Obviously I'm not doing something right and would be appreciative of any help you could provide. P.S. i've been spending all morning searching cad forums and haven't seen anything helpful. Thanks, Laura Quote
nukecad Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Factor of 12; are you sure that it wasn't drawn in inches and dimensioned in feet? Quote
lauramichelle Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Haha you are correct, the most simple solution too!!! Thanks. the site plan covers an area of 15,855 square meters, and the site fits on an A1 size paper at a scale of 4:1 would this be correct? My apoligizes, I just want to double check. Quote
