Dimensions at 1:2 scale

I'm having problems with adding dimensions to my project. Scale is set at 1:2 in the layout and is giving me trouble with the correct dimensions. Dimensions are usually double the actual size. The dimensions are correct in the model space.

Currently using autocad 2009.

Thanks for any help you can provide :D

try using "spacetrans" to calculate a dist. from the model space to the paper space
