I doubt I'm following good form but I've been making a different dimension style for each of my viewports. Usually I have about 3 viewports.

My problem now is that for some reason I can't change the text height in my dimension style or text style, it is grayed out. What is going on here?

I would make a dimstyle for each viewport and lable them as such. I am assuming you are editing each and every dimension.

What height is your text style set to, by default. Check it using STYLE.

To have maximum flexibility, it should be set to a height of 0.

you must set your text height to " 0 " for your dimension text style under

the text tab from the dimension style dialogbox.

Check attach image!:)
