MARKY Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 i'm trying to modify my companies existing template and want to edit the linetypes within the template dwg. i can see some of them in the .lin files but some appear to just reside within the dwg itself and not the .lin. is there a way to edit these linetypes? or can i export them to a .lin and edit them there? i know what to do in the .lin file but as yet haven't been able to find how to get to these other lines. i think this template was made a long time ago so any .lin files that were used to insert them has probably long since disappeared. chulse Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Do a search for LINOUT.VLX and see if you can find it (I don't remember where I got it). It exports the linetypes in a given dwg to a new .lin file. Quote
