Scaling two drawings

Hello all and HAPPY NRW YEAR.

I am using 2010 and need to scale two drawing in one layout. what would be the best way to do this.

Drawing a: 1:1

Drawing b 1:2.

Create two viewports (one for each dwg) and assign each one a different scale.

Many thanks, done that but how do you set a scale.

once you've drawn your viewport, select it, and then in properties under the misc options, there should be the scale settings options

Another option is to enable the Viewports toolbar. Click on the Viewport frame and then go to your toolbar and select the scale from the drop-down list.
