SuperCAD Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Hi ttsadaf, without actually seeing the block and how it behaves we can't really be of much help to you. Can you post the block as an attachment so we can open it and mess around with it? That way we can give you some good advice. Quote
BearDyugin Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Why only 5 size? Still there is the 7 Quote

ReMark Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 What is your objective? To decrease the number of listed scales? This almost sounds like an annotative scaling problem. Can Dynamic Blocks be annotative as well? I know regular blocks can be. Quote
ttsadaf Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 no i want to know how this block is made..... with different scales......... Quote
ttsadaf Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 please xpalin me....... i vl see it tomorow ........ my tome is up........ waiting for your reply....... thanx in advance....... Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 A normal block can be set up as an annotative object. Scales can be added to or deleted from annotative objects. In any version of AutoCAD that supports the annotative scaling feature find and use the Annotative Object Scale feature. The option Add/Delete Scales is what you are looking for. Is the version of AutoCAD you are using, as listed in your profile, still correct? Could you maybe reduce the size of the font you're using in your posts? It's almost as though you're yelling. Thanks. Quote
todouble22 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 im confused is the user attempting to create a dynamic block or an annotative one?? My eyes go fuzzy with such large bold text.. Quote
ReMark Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I get the impression the OP inherited the block from someone else. He keeps mentioning Dynamic Block but also brings up the many scales attached to it so it makes me think he has a block that has been assigned annotative scaling. I guess we won't know what he has until we can see it somehow. Another thing that puzzles me is the version his profile says he's running. Could he really have a drawing with a Dynamic Block in it? I know a user can save a drawing with an annotative scaled object back to an earlier version. As I recall, doing so will result in the creation of an anoymous block with the different scale representations saved to seperate layers. Anyone care to confirm/deny this? Quote
SuperCAD Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Anyone care to confirm/deny this? I think you're right. I remember having to save back to 2004 after we starting using dynamic blocks and multileaders and it caused us all sorts of headaches with extra layers and random elements showing up on the drawings. The only fix was to have our customer upgrade to 2008. Quote
