how to align solid along circular path

I have included the file of what i am trying to do. The screen should open with the solid on side and ellipse face on. The solid oobjects at present are linear, however i would liek them to curve with the ellipse in its current geometry. (ul no wah i mean wen u open it). does anyone know how to do this? please teach me!! lol, thanks

What point on the solid do you want "aligned" with the ellipse? The center? Top edge? Bottom edge?

Why can't you just rotate/move it into the position you want?

basically at the moment the solid object (which ive made into AMG logo) is lindear, id like the whoel thing following the ellipse's circular path but in the same plane it currently is in. In another .dwg i have a solid ellipse and want to inscribe the logo into the surface of the 3D solid ellipse but would like the imprint to have a constant depth through the inscription but in order to do that, the "text" has to be cruved (i hope this makes sense).

Perhaps you could save to an earlier Cad version; i.e.: 2000.

Quite a few forum members can't open '09 *.dwg files.

I didn't look at the file, but perhaps Divide or Measure with Block option is what you are after.
