VBA Help

Hi I am just starting out with vba programming. I was wondering if someone could help me out with something I am trying to do. Basically I am building a form and when I hit the command button I want to be able to select a polyline from autocad ,and have the area of the polyline and length and width show up in textboxes on the form. I would like this to be in feet and inches if possible. I may just need an example I could work off of.

If you are just starting out in programming, I would advise that you steer clear of VBA as it is being dropped by ADesk for other API's, see here:

Well, if you wanted to stick to that area, perhaps a .NET or C#, but I believe the power is in C++
