pasted object disappearing into oblivion.

When I’m copy & or cutting then pasting, my object once pasted is disappearing into oblivion.

 

Could someone please provide me with a solution that could prevent me this from happening?

I’m sure the solution is related to UCS but I don’t know what..?

The only thing that seems to work is for me is when I click on ‘world UCS’ I’m able to past within my working window beside the cursor but… inevitably, as soon as I view the object perspective (working in 3D) the problem reoccurs. Benn working in 3D for over 3 years now and never had this problem and can’t work out how to resolve it. This has been going on for over a week now.

I've reinstalled ACad 2010
