devitg Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Hi, I'm looking for way to do it. I have the "skeleton" of a WIRE & CABLE HARNESSES. The source is a image. I inserted it , and draw lines from each end to tie points and or direction changes. As the DWG attached. Giving 2 extreme point , near to the text, I need to find the "route" between both. As the green poly. I change , by hand, the colors of each line that will be the way from one point to other, just to show it. I do some search , and found it could be name a GRAPHO, and one main investigator about is was Edsger Dijkstra . The user will pick on a text , and the line belong to it , twice at start and end. Picks could be any pair of it. Do you see some like it before? In this case it pick on "X16815" and to the nearest red line. and "X13084" and to the nearest blue line. All line are the same color. The LISP shall draw, over the lines, a polyline as the green show at right. Hope I made it clear. cable-harnesess-skeleton.dwg Quote
Lee Mac Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I think you forgot to attach a DWG/Image Quote
CarlB Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I believe the goal is to find the route through a bunch of line segments, between 2 selected endpoints. Would be a nice challenge for a math major. Quote
