Hi all... Is there any way to explode or break down a text into individual lines? ... Currently, when I engrave text on a part in a CNC program i've traced the text in AutoCAD with lines in order to generate the code in a CAM software... I draw all of my parts in AutoCAD and just transfer it to the CAM software when i'm done... I'm just wondering if this is possible as it would save me much time...

Thanks,

Chief

You do have Express Tools loaded right?

I just checked my version of 2004 and under Express Tools for Text it is listed as being TXTEXP. I've never had the opportunity to explode text so I can't tell you how good this particular command will work. Give it a try and see what happens.

I don't have access to the CD/ROM for the version of AutoCAD i'm using ... I'll have to get with my boss to see where he has it...

Thanks for the help!! :D
