Connect Project Tech Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I've been sent a drawing from a developer thats causing me some grief! Seems every time I Audit there's an error that gets fixed, say 76 of the little fu... called Dim Blocks. So I purge the drawing and get rid of the Dim Blocks that I audited & erased - job done I thought .... But, every time I audit there's 76 more errors, and yes, all of them are called Dim Block. When I purge the drawing the next set of Dim Blocks get deleted, say 77-152. Now what the hell are Dim Blocks and why don't they all get audited & purged when I do this instead of 76 at a time?! Is my drawing corrupt? Quote
ReMark Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Try the shareware version of SuperPurge v2.0.98.5 available here: http://www.manusoft.com/Software/SuperPurge/Main.stm Maybe that will put an end to the problem. Quote
Connect Project Tech Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 If only I could, being in work & having the IT department we do, I'm lucky I have access to this site! Quote
ReMark Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Another CAD user held hostage by his IT department. Like IT gives a tinker's damn about what you need to do your job. I suppose with all the malware and computer viruses that exist they have to go overboard with their vigilance. PM me with your email address. I'll send you a copy. Quote
a_67vdub Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I've seen this too. I was able to get rid of the problem by saving the layer state, then turn on/thaw all the layers, then select everything using a window (not crossing) and copy/paste it into a clean drawing. Gotta do it for model space and all the layouts. Quote
