Hi,

I've recieved one dynamic block from a friend of mine. It is Scale block, showing scale.

I saved it as a file (model.dwg)

When I then insert it in a drawing (paperspace) I have to explode it to get the visibility options.

I tried to go and copy the block in the block editor and paste it in a new drawing (model) without results.

How can I make "block insert" without having to explode it?

Best Regards

are you sure it is not a block within a block? Does it retain the same block name after exploding?

Once exploded I would WBLOCK the item to a new file and then INSERT that into your drawing.

Well,

You can take a look at this.

I am trying to insert that dynamic block to a new drawing (paperspace).

I have to explode it to get the visibility parameters.

I attach a file for you to take a look at.

it was a block within a block. You had to explode the outer block to expose the inner one.

we use this its a dynamic block with a drop down menu so that you can select what scale you are at and all...

We are making these blocks for all kinds of things.
