system varible settings

System Variable, What I’m trying to find is the system variable that controls the following.

When you have an ellipse and you want to scale it you type sc to scale, pick base point, type r for reference, pick first point (center) then second point (quadrant) and as you move the mouse on can see the ellipse resize its self.

I watch my co-work do this but we can’t figure out why my computer can’t do the same, we both have version 2007 on our machines.

Can someone please explain what I need to do to fix this problem.

Check to make sure your DRAGMODE variable is set to AUTO.
