Here's a issue I've never had to deal with before, We rencently got a new computer at work and set up CAD. My command line seems to only be accepting some commands or full words but not their abbreviations.

For example, if I type in "z" it says that it does not understand the command, but if I type out "zoom" it works fine.

Or if I type "pl" it doesn't understand the command but if I type "pline" it works fine.

This has never happened to me before and it works fine on other computers at the office, anyone have any ideas? I pretty much only know the abbreviated versions of commands so this is making my life difficult.

Thanks in advance

The abbreviations/shortcuts are in a file named acad.pgp. Apparently acad can't find the file. To test if acad can find it try typing (findfile "acad.pgp") at the command line. If the file isn't found do a search of your harddrive for the file (I think it's buried some where like C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Autodesk\C3D 2008\enu\Support\). If found, make sure either the folder is in acad's support path or the file is in one of acad's support path folders.

in case you're missing it someone can always send you a copy of the file, or copy the content since it opens in notepad.
