Problem 1:

I have a block with a visibility parameter. This parameter has three visibility states to set the visibility of some attributes.

When set the vis-state to not show some of the attribuites then double click the block to open the Enhanced Attribute Editor the attribute that is set to not display has the TAG removed, but the attributes PROMPT is still displayed. So in the editor dialog block the TAG - PROMP - VALUE do not match. I have attached images of the attribute editor.

Problem 2:

Just recently when I opened a drawing with dynamic blocks, the blocks are no longer dynamic. I only get the block insertion grip, but no dynamic grips. Also during the setion when I select any block - right click for "Block Editor" it doesn't work.

Thanks in advance..

here is block for problem 1 - block created in 2008

In regards to my Problem 2: If I create the same dynamic block in AutoCAD 2010 and save file of type: AutoCAD 2007/LT 2007 Drawing(*.dwg) and then open the block in autocad 2008 the block is no longer dynamic.

I have created several dynamic blocks in the past with no problems. This seemed to have just started. Is there a system variable that was changed?

Well that's interesting... It must be an 'Undisclosed feature'!

I opened your block in 2010 and couldn't replicate the attribute behaviour. I saved it as a 2007 file and opened it in Acad 2009. The block's dynamic behaviour was fine, but now the Attributes went out of whack, just as you described...

I'm afraid I can't help, sorry :-~ If it's any consolation, when I used 'ATTEDIT' rather than 'DDEDIT' the attributes and their tags where fine...
