"feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." You will find that many on this forum frown on asking people to do your homework. Quote
Tankman Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Homework? Noahma said it all. We help when we can, between our own "homework." What specifically don't you understand? Quote
Grip Grip Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 I've answered 60% of the questions on my own. I just need help with the ones I don't know. I don't believe in asking for "free" help, so I'm offering to pay for the assistance. What is immoral or unethical about my approach? Quote

Cad64 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Post your thread in the jobs/Training.So you can get someone to do your homework I can pretty much guarantee that none of the forum regulars are going to do anyone's homework assignment. Payment or no payment, that's not what CADTutor is about. If you have questions, just post them here and I'm sure someone will be more than willing to help you find the answers, free of charge. Quote

A boundary is created by AutoCAD after it has analyzed? A- all specifed points in a boundary B- all polyline boundaries C- the selected boundary set D- the gap tolerance I believe the answer is B. Quote
Cad64 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Well, "B" sounds logical, but I believe the answer is actually "C" because Autocad is not going to analyze ALL polyline boundaries, it's just going to analyze the ones you selected as a set. I'm not saying "C" IS the correct answer, but that's the one that I would pick. Quote
Grip Grip Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 Thanks, I'm going to keep looking in the book. Can you see now why I've asked? I've searched the book thoroughly, and this question along with two others has me scratching my head. I've been looking for these for over four hours. Quote
rkent Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I would guess C as it is the best of the answers possible. Tests are tough because the people developing the questions think they know what they are doing when in fact they don't and are prohibiting the learning process rather than helping. I don't know how to do it either but the bad questions are easy to spot. Quote
eldon Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Of course, none of the answers might be right. For example, if you set AutoCAD to create a boundary by Picking points, then AutoCAD analyses all objects visible in the current viewport. Dodgy question. Quote
