I have inserted an XRef into a drawing, the XRef color turn light, I can't see. I use autocad 2010.

Go to options and then select the 'Display' tab and look to the lower right for fade control. Set it to zero.

Your very welcome. FYI - There is an option to do the same thing for isolated layers now. Rather than turn them off you can choose to have them fade instead. It can come in handy. That is found in the layer manager dialog. Upper right hand corner. Click the symbol that looks like a tiny wrench.

The layer dialog variable must be set to 1 otherwise you won't see the wrench symbol.

Variable: Layerdlgmode = 1
