Im using Carlson 2009 with Autcad imbedded in it. I have 2 seperate surveys that im trying to combine done by differnet people. One was done to ordnance datum and the other wasnt - now here lies the problem.

I have adjusted the z elevations of the points in the survey to ordnance datum done by knowing an exact height of a shared station point, but the downloaded text box with the heights are wrong (shows the z elevations of the point before adjustment)...is there anyway to adjust the text z elevation values to suit the z elevation values of the point?

Or can you add a new text box with the z elevation held by the points (would try and do every single one but there are over 300 to do).

Thanks

If the elevations are text entities, then you can edit them all with a lisp such as TEXTMATH. This allows you to add/subtract a constant from all the levels picked.

However, if your elevation texts are a visible attribute of a block, then you need to search further.

If you have the original data file, then you could perhaps use a spreadsheet to alter the elevations then input the new data.
