NTX JK Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I am needing to make a sheet that is 36 x 54 inches. I have a 36" wide plotter, but the longest length I found is 48". Anyone know how to make it 54"? Quote
ReMark Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Once you have selected your printer/plotter the Properties button to the right should become available to you. Click on it. At the next window find the entry for Custom Paper Sizes. That's where you start. Quote
NTX JK Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 I've tried that but once I click on Custom Paper Sizes, it is all grayed out. Quote
ReMark Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I've tried that but once I click on Custom Paper Sizes, it is all grayed out. Then go up to the entry that reads Custom Properties. Click on it. As soon as you do another option becomes available called Access Custom Dialog. There should be a new Custom Properties button you can click on. That should take you to a tabbed window. The tab you want is called Paper Quality. Check out Paper options > Size is: Hope this does it for you cause I got to hit the road. I won't be around for a couple of hours but I'll try to check back in and see where you're at. Keep us updated. Bye. Quote
NTX JK Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 OK. I got it to work. I have always been using the printer set up that is in windows. I made a pc3 file under Plotter manager and that one allowed me to make a custom size. Thanks ReMark. Quote
ReMark Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I'd ask but I really don't want to know. I'm thrilled that you were able to create a pc3 file and a custom sized paper. You're entirely welcomed NTX JK. Quote
