Exporting 3d models to Adobe llustrator

I recieve pdf's from the drawing and open it in illutsrator for publishing pruposes. So far things have run smoothly.

The daughsmen have now been upgraded to 64bit machines and it is now causing big problem. opening the these pdf's I am getting solid line and no tone on the images at all. My pc is only 32bit. I use all Adobe programmes for publisjing books and these images are a veru important part of it.

Can anyone help me or give me any other ways I can get the drawing or models across.
