I have a question concerning naming dynamic blocks.

For example I created a Dynamic block that has a few visibility states. Right , for example, now I have to name the Dynamic block "BlockDyn" and then name the drawing "Block".

When I want to insert it I have to insert the dwg "Block" then explode it. So now I have 2 blocks in my drawing. "Block" and "BlockDyn". Then because I like to keep my drawings clean I have to purge.

I figure there has got to be a way to bypass all that nonsense. any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't insert the drawing, just insert the block. It would be best to add the block to a tool palette and then insert the block using that.
