duffclonoe Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 Sorry If I double posted, Its my first time using this site! I have read you can use flatten on the express options, however I have Autocad 2006 and do not have this express option. Is there any other way? Quote
Tiger Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 if you have AutoCAD full, then you have payed for Express Tools - find the installation CD and install them. Depending on what you really mean with "make 3D 2D" and what objects you have, you make highlight them and use the command CHANGE to change properties on the objects (or bring up the Properties palette) Quote
ReMark Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 To expand upon Tiger's post above re: Change. Command: Change Select objects: pick the object you wish to change. Select objects: Specify change point or [Properties]: type P for Properties Enter property to change [Color/Elev/LAyer/LType/ltScale/LWeight/Thickness/Material/Annotative]: type E for elevation Specify new elevation : In this example the object's elevation is 1.00. You want to specify the new elevation as 0.00 The command will repeat the prompt Enter property to change... Hit enter to exit. Done. Quote
