mmdmov Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Hi, I'm completely new in Autocad and here is what I want to do: I have a curved pipe, which has elliptical cross section which is not the same along the pipe. I have the cross sections at certain, lets say 10 points, along the pipe. What I need to do is to somehow interpolate between these points. I want to know how I can build such a 3D curved pipe in Autocad. Since I'm new here, please explain it as easy as you can. Thanks alot!!! Quote
ReMark Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 The Loft command would be ideal however you're using 2004 and the loft command would not be part of that release. I think it got introduced in 2007. Quote
fuccaro Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 You can create separate solids between consecutive cross sections and unify them. But probable the result will be not the same. Quote
