Burner Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I am creating my own drawing templates and ran into a problem: In my layout tab all my text boxes are in line and displaying correctly, but when I go to my plot preview, all my text boxes are rotated 90°. My drawing is in a landscape orientation. Any suggestions? I also ran into the problem of rotating my text. In some cases I want my text to be rotated 90° and I want it to be shown in my layout tab. In the past when I used AutoCAD 2008 LT, I would simply click on the text and then modify*rotate. The text would rotate the given angle and rotate back for editing. Any suggestions? I recently upgraded from AutoCAD 2008 LT to AutoCAD 2010. I am still trying to get familiar with the new user interface and tools so maybe there is something I missed… Quote
Burner Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 Found the answer to my dilemma. Just in case this happens to anyone else the following is the solution: Click on the text and view the properties box. Look for the "Match orientation to layout" dialogue box. Change the box to no, and now the text can be freely rotated and viewed correctly in plot preview. Quote
