Kat Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Hello All I am looking for a lisp or just a regular command that will count blocks for me and sort by the attribute. I have found one that will count the types of blocks, but it needs to be more specific. I do many lighting layouts, so there are many different attributes for the same blocks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kat Quote
lpseifert Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Have you tried the Dataextraction command? Quote
Kat Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 I gave dataextraction a try yesterday. It's a little confusing to get used to. I think it will be helpful for other purposes for more detailed reports. I was wondering if there were any other commands anyone can think of? Thanks!! Quote
Tommy78 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 For simply counting the blocks (if not dynamic!) you can use the BCOUNT command, if you want to sort by attributes you'll have to use a data-extraction, it's indeed a bit confising in the beginning but once you have your template set up right it works really well. (i also use this for lighting layouts btw) Quote
