Xref layers shopind in drawing

Hello,

I have inserted an xref into a drawing and all the layers that are in the xref show in the layer properties an in the drop down box where I select layers.

Is there anyway to remove them from here so that they dont show, or will only show in the filters on the layer properties box.

Yeah, you can only hide them with filters.

How do you set the filter up?

Create the filter in the layer dialog box.

This is in 2009, but it should be close enough.

Put ~*|* as the filter.
