forevermichael Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Hi, I'm doing a remodeling job and I would like to demolish a few walls. I studied interior design and for some reason I guess they skipped the section about demo in my autocad class, lol. My question is, how do I indicate walls I need to demo in Model space? Do I need to copy the objects I want to demo and just change the layer? I know how to freeze what I don't want to show in Paper space. Could someone show me an easy way to do this. Thanks, M! (I'm using Autocad 2009) Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Someone just asked almost the same question. Read down the list of threads that have been posted today. See the thread entitled: Demolition drawing example. Quote
forevermichael Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 I tried searching for a post relating to my question before I posted this and I didn't find one. I'm sorry but I don't see the post you're referring to. Quote

ReMark Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I would have figured providing the exact title of the thread would have been sufficient in this case. Guess I was wrong. Oh well. Quote
Crazy J Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Someone just asked almost the same question. Read down the list of threads that have been posted today. BTW, how long do new posts stay in the 'new posts' section? Some days it seems there are 100+ in there, other days just a couple? Is it a rolling 24 hour window, perhaps? Or maybe reset at the same point each day? I keep weird hours sometimes and have been unable to notice a pattern. Quote
