Guest Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 i brought in a asc. file full of points. Im doing the grading portion of the project and need to explode or something that will let me work with point number, description, and elevation all separately (but still connected to the point). i tried explode but that separates everything to much (and explodes the point itself also). iv also tried explode attribute to text, but that doesn't do anything at all.. thank for your guys help Quote
alanjt Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 It's an LDD point. Select>Right-Click>Edit Point Quote
Guest Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 i know how to do that but i want to move elev, desc, point number all separately, and also when i move the cursor over the elevation the point still lights up Quote

You want to move the individual labels within the point label. eg: move the elevation label on the other side of the point. AFAIK, you can only rotate/move the 3 labels as a group. Quote

In LDD, the display for points is based on what you define it to be in the Display Settings. It doesn't give a lot of options. Quote
