ReMark Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 You should consider changing the title of your thread to something like: How do I protect an AutoCAD drawing? You can password protect an AutoCAD drawing but I think if someone does a "save as" they can circumvent it. You can send the file as a DWF instead of a DWG but I think that too can be circumvented. You can try the program DwgGuardTNT but I cannot say for sure how well it works. Look for it in the AutoLISP Archive here at CADTutor. You can send the drawing as a PDF. If the other person tries to convert it to a DWG file it will take a lot of effort to alter it. Quote
