michaeloureiro Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Hey everybody, How can i change a shape´s line thickness on screen? I know how it´s done with polylines, but i can´t seem to set this up when it comes up to shapes. Big thanks! Quote
Cad64 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 What exactly do you mean when you say "a shape's line thickness"? Quote
michaeloureiro Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 A 2d shape, like a circle, rectangle etc. I can change a polyline´s line thickness on screen by changing it´s global width property, but I can´t do it with shapes. Quote
eldon Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 A rectangle is already a polyline, and for a circle with thickness use a Donut. Quote
SPARKY77 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 You can change the line thinkness with the line weight tool and then select the show line weight button on the bottom left of the screen Quote
michaeloureiro Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 It worked sparky77. I can only use donuts for circles, have to offset for other shapes. Big thanks Quote

Big thanks As Eldon say's, you can edit a rectangle or any polygon made with the rectangle or polygon button by editing the polyline. Try PEDIT, then select the line and change the width. Of course, you can also set the Width when starting the rectangle, polygon or donut command. Glenn USA Quote
