Ells Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I dont know if I ever resolved this but it contiues to be a problem. I type "BASE" and get "0,0,0", I go to plot preview and the plot it shifted off the page. I go back to the drawing and make sure that the corner of the plot is at 0,0,0 and the limits are set but the plot is still shifted off the page. Anybody have a clue? Thanks in advance, ells Quote
ReMark Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Sounds like you are neglecting to input a X and a Y plot offset in the Plot dialog window. Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Different plotters need different X, Y offsets. You may need to jiggle it around until you get it right. Once you've got it, save your page setup so you don't have to do it again. Try setting your plot area to extents, check 'center the plot' and then set the plot area back to layout. If it doen't work first time toggle back and forth. It might just find the optimal plot offset for you. Quote
Ells Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 I have not had to put an xy offset before unless it was only a little adjustment. The amount it was off showed me there was something wrong with the drawing. I went back to my usual way of making sure Dview was ok, audited it for good measure and did a regenall and for some reason known only by autodesk it worked. Thanks anyway, Ells Quote
