Plot Settings Troubles

Hi All I need some Help Please

I have a new PC and installed MEP however when i try to set up a plot the end result is awful, after playing around a bit i notice that no matter what printer plotter of pdf printer i set up the maximum dpi amounts to either 100 or 200 dpi?

My other PC lets me go much higher up to 1200 dpi and its a pile of poop.

Have i pressed something wrong somewhere or perhaps a corrupt install.

Any advice welcome as i cant see what i am doing wrong

thanks in advance.

oh and its 2010 mep, quadro fx4500 1.5gig, xeon 2.8, 4 gig if anyone needs to know

Hmmm i appear to be lying, i can set the plot up to 1200 dpi, my template frame comes out perfect its the mep models that look dreadful. i am trying to print a four view port sheet with to top elevations and to SE views. Its a small prefabrication for gas pipework.

To further add, the top view lines appear wavy and the SE views in conceptual show poor quality wiremesh with colour applied.

I am pulling my hair out

Is your targeted printer/plotter set as the DEFAULT device in Windows?

Hi Guys

thanks for replying, the default printer was not set to the printer i was trying to print from, tried this then changed print settings in mep deleted view ports and recreated them, this is to no avail either, it is doing the same thing on my other PC too and same problem also with the latest file i am working on.

I can email the file if you want to pm it to me as too big for the sites constraints it only 2mb though, tried to upload a pdf but that was too big also.
