ReMark Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Sounds like you could use the 3DSOUT utility. Trouble is, while I know it works in AutoCAD 2007 and 2008 I'm not sure it works in 2009. I suppose you could give it a try. Download it at the AutoDesk website. Quote
MikeScott Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 download it? it's an external thing now? It used to just be a built-in command thing in 2004.. you could enter the command at the commandline, or use a pull-down menu to get to it. Quote
ReMark Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Where have you been Mike? You don't recall the hue and cry that went up when 3DSOUT was removed? Even the CADTutor himself was caught unawares. Quote
Cad64 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Why did they remove it? Good question. Why won't they put it back? Better question. Quote
MikeScott Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Bryce accepts DXF imports.. you just have to pay attention to how your solids are created. I seem to recall issues with "flipped normals" if you made things a certain way. Quote
