Slickrick2000 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 A guy I work with is having a strange problem with his units tolerance setting. He has the tolerance set at 1/16" and has his dim style set to round off to 1/16" he started noticing his dimensions were off and after checking the units tolerance found they had changed to 1/4". Any ideas why this happened? We can't seem to duplicate the problem at will. Any help or ideas are appreceated. Rick Quote
ReMark Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Under Linear Dimensions what is Precision set to? Is there more than one dimension style being used in the drawing? Quote
Slickrick2000 Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 Precision is set to 1/16". And I believe there is only one being used in his drawing. Quote
nukecad Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Are ypu running any lisps, vba, or macros? They could be changing the tolerance to do what THEY want and not setting it back again when they finish. Quote
Slickrick2000 Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 He has been annotating with a lisp I wrote that integrates some third party add on commands, but the thing is, i can use the lisp without the same effect, he tries the lisp in another dwg and it doesn't produce the same effect, AND he cannot duplicate the same effect in the dwg it's happening in if he tries using the lisp again. Very strange. Seems like it's dwg specific. Quote
