slimbone Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I am trying to convert COGO points to regular blocks, and everywhere on the 'net is saying to goto the Points menu to convert them, but I cannot find the Points Menu in civil 3D 2010? Where is it located? My Civil 3D looks almost identical to my autocad 2010 interface, ie: there's no points menu. Help!? TIA Quote
lpseifert Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Open Workspace and see if there is a workspace name Civil 3D Complete (or something similar). If so try making it current. If not it sounds like you opened 'Civil 3D 2010 as AutoCAD' instead of 'AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010' You can access 'AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010' from Windows Start > Autodesk... Quote
slimbone Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 I only see "2D drafting & annotation" "3D modeling" "AutoCAD classic" And I checked, I have civil 3D opened as Civil 3D. Quote
slimbone Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 ok, so I finally found the correct menus. I just ended up using a different computer. But now, I'm trying to convert the COGO points to Blocks and it's not working. I follow the Points -> Create Blocks from COGO points The screen pops up and no matter what settings I pick, nothing happens. It either says that theres no COGO points in the current screen, which isn't true, or it just doesn't do anything? How do I create blocks from all these COGO points? Quote
