hanz007 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Hello I have a D drawing viewed in about a quarter angle. When I insert my block, the block is not in the same angle. I have used my insertion point to get the block where I want it, but the angle doesn't match. When I use the rotation option. The block only spins around in a 360* I need to rotate it on the z axis. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks GL Quote
ReMark Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I'm guessing 2000i doesn't have the Align command does it? Quote
hanz007 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 I was able to insert ONE block into the drawing using align and it worked. But was having trouble with another. I finally figured it out though. Thanks ReMark! Quote
ReMark Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 You're welcomed. Thanks for confirming the presence of the Align command in 2000i. Isn't it time for an upgrade? 2011 just got released. Quote
hanz007 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 I'd LOVE to get an upgrade. Have to wait for the boss to OK it first. Or if I only knew a student..... Quote

ReMark Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 House: Start with the tutorials here at CADTutor. Buy a good after-market AutoCAD book. Ask questions. Practice, practice then practice some more. Quote
