ReMark Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I'm not 100% certain but I do believe you can go from AutoCAD into Inventor. Quote

I thing my class uses the educational versions of both. Please help me!!! Yes you can... I sometimes will import 2d drawings into my inventor sketches or save an AutoCAD solid out to .sat to import into inventor, however, most of the time it's just easier to redraw the part/s in Inventor. Plus it will give you lot's of good practice in the Inventor environment. KC Quote
JD Mather Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 It is easy to do, but in my experience most AutoCAD work is garbage. Nearly all experienced Inventor users will tell you to simply start over in Inventor to avoid fixing problems from poor AutoCAD techniques. Quote
