Detach two lines

Hi guys , I am working with a line. I have drawn two random lines as two different objects from each other, when I go down in modifier there is an option to attach an object, so I added the second line and attached both lines as one object, does anyone knows how to detach one of the lines again? without ctrl + Z? thanx

Just select one of the lines, right click and select "Detach Segment".
