Hi, I have a small problem, I have imported autocad plan in 3ds max, and at the moment it is an editable spline, my problem is when I convert it to an editable poly the whole plan just disappears, and small bits remain, is it because the vertexes are not connected with each other? and are there other reasons for this ? thanx guys ;)

Make sure your lines in Autocad are closed Polylines. Then try Importing again.
And when you Import, in the Import Options dialog, set the option to "Derive Autocad Primitives by" to Entity. This will break the CAD linework up into individual pieces.

Sorry, were can I find the Import options dialog in 3ds max? I can only find the large 3ds logo, then import, and import, merge and replace, :)

Right, click Import and then select your CAD file. This will open the Import dialog.
