Using AutoCAD w/ VB Express 2008

In VS 2008 there is the Use application at start up option under Project Settings/Debug where you can specify that you want ACAD*exe to execute when the VB project runs.

 

This option is not available in VB Express 2008. I did download a AutoCAD_Template_Setup*exe, however it will not create the project. I can select the VBdotNET AutoCAD template, it just will not create the project. Not sure why.

 

I would like to learn how to do this without the Template anyway. I will use the template after I learn how to setup a VB project to use AutoCAD.
