Jadgpanther Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Hi can anyone recommend any good links for writing scripts, (syntax, command alias etc, ) ? (I have done a search on forum, so go easy on me ) thanks in advance Quote
ReMark Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 You might find some useful articles about using scripts at the AutoDesk website. Your next option is to do an Internet search using the following as your inputs: "AutoCAD"+"script" Include the punctuation. Quote
dbroada Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 the script should contain the same commands as you would type them on the keyboard athough command aliases DO NOT work. I write my scripts by writing down each step with pen & paper at the same time as typing the command in AutoCAD. Then use notepad (don't use word) to put it into a script file. Quote
