Mr.Alex Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Does the "SKETCH" command work in AutoCAD LT 2010? I can't seem to get it to, it just says "unkown command". I'm looking for a tool, which is a bit like the revision cloud tool (but not made up of arks), in that you can draw freehand, and it creates a line which follows where you move the cursor. There's a tool like this in Microstation, which I used to use. I've done a search on this, and people seem to suggest the SKETCH command, but I can't even get it to work! Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Generally speaking, if you type in a command and AutoCAD returns "unknown command" either the command does not exist or you spelled the name incorrectly. One other option is the command, for whatever reason, goes by a different name. It's rare but it has happened one or twice. Quote
Mr.Alex Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks ReMark. I think it is an old command, perhaps this has been ditched, or doesn't exist in Lt 2010. Thanks, Alex Quote
ReMark Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I looked it up in AutoCAD LT 2004 but did not find a reference to it. Quote

ReMark Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks - maybe it's really old then Or maybe it was a feature of full AutoCAD and not LT. Quote
Mr.Alex Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 True. Thank you though - I think I can manage without it. Quote
