I've inserted a block on top of a block.... consequently I can't get the item count on the legend to match the visible items on the drawing...DOH !

Anybody got any really clever ideas how i can tell where the duplication is ?

Do you know which block it is? are all the blocks on one layer? Isolate the layer and then start dividing and conquering. Window select half the drawing and use quick select to match the count of selected to what you expect.

Having typed that out, a thought occurs to me, look around to Lee Macs Point manager - I'm pretty sure that it will output the insertion point of all selected blocks. From there it's a simple matter to open the output file in Excel and see where there are matching insertion points - that is, if the 2 blocks are exactly on top of each other.

That might be the easiest way.

Use the Overkill command, select your blocks and then use "Overlap" option under lines, arcs and plines. Any duplicates should be deleted.

I didn't know that overkill worked with blocks - Thank you very much!
