Looking for 3d cad drawings!

Hello to all. I am looking for some hardware drawings for the cabinet construction. I need 3d drawings for spacer blocks for drawer products. i didnt know if someone could tell me where i might find the drawings online or here. i have searched and haven't found much yet. Any help would be apprecieated.Thanks in advance.

I can't tell you where to find 3D drawings on drawer blocks but I can tell you that my efforts for 3D part drawings in the past have usually proved fruitless. Manufacturers of such parts may have them but they don't routinely make them available eithe on line of by way of asking for them.

If you have some kind of dimensioned drawings on the parts it wouldn't be too hard to make your own 3D drawings.

I hate to say it but lots of the parts I look for 3D drawings are not available because the suppliers don't see the benefit in it supplying drawings or usually their legal department refuses to allow too much information out into the public domain for fear of someone using it against them in litigation.

How difficult could it be to create 3D spacer blocks? Are there standard sizes and shapes one can buy right off the shelf?

Make your own library of spacer blocks and the next guy that comes looking for some you can sell him yours.

I've found that Mcmaster-Carr often includes DWG files of many of their parts. I would at least check there, before assuming it's not availible.

Also, the manufacturer, if known, will sometimes have a website which may include those things. The big fear is that their competition might use the drawings to copy their parts, but some just don't seem to worry about such things.
