What you will need to do is create a Standards DWG file. This file is where your palettes will pull your styles from. This is very important, if you do not create this, the palettes will be pulling from whichever project you created it in, and down the line it will be a mess that is very hard to undo. next, copy and paste an example of your new wall style into the standards file. Then click on the wall and drag it to a palette. This will add the wall style to the palette. You can then take it one step further and create a catalog as well by dragging all of your palettes into the new catalog.
