shift1313 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 What exactly do you mean by simulate? Do you just want to animate motion? What version of Solidworks are you running and what simulation package do you have? SimulationXpress is a user friendly version of the simulation. You may need to turn on simulation in the Add-ins menu. You can create motion studies without simulation if thats all you need to do. Quote

shift1313 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 well i think you are out of luck with multi-body parts on all counts. I dont think any of the packages will do that. There is a little bit of a procedure(i think) to analyzing and it involves starting a motion study first, then exporting the results to the simulation. What kind of assemblies are you talking about?
