jonmadjon Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Hi all, I have generated these files from another application (non Autocad) but I can't open them in Autocad. The errors are: test_2.dxf: Incorrect group 330 in table head on line 74. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded. test_3.dxf: Incorrect group 102 in table head on line 96. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded. I don't have the experience to understand the problem by editing the dxf manually.... Any suggestions about the problem and what is wrong with these files or what should I edit in the dxf so it can open in Autocad ? Thanks in advance test_2.dxf test_3.dxf Quote
jonmadjon Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 It's from Smallworld. The problem has to do with the linetypes definition in the dxf file that is generated and to be more specific when these definitions are being read from another dxf that has the linetypes I want already loaded. When I don't use this, the exported dxf is OK but I can't have the linetypes definitions. I suppose that if I could understand the error in the dxf file I could fix it in Smallworld. The weird thing is that the files are opening with other software such as ArcInfo... Quote
