Hi

Simple question.... How can I colour an area, for example, the area inside a circle?

Thanks

In plain AutoCAD if I wanted a filled circle I'd use the Donut command.

Another option would be to use a dense hatch.

Play with colours used to hatch generally use light colours and send to back if you want linework to show up.

Had a look at 2011 yesterday and new commnad transparency will make this task so much better as you can control the shading density.
